- AccessNI
AccessNI provides a function similar to Disclosure Scotland to employers and voluntary organisations in Northern Ireland.
- Apex Scotland
Apex Scotland works to give offenders, ex-offenders and young people at risk equal access to the employment market by raising skills and addressing the barriers to employment that a criminal past presents.
Apex Scotland, in association with Disclosure Scotland and the Scottish Government, provides an advisory service to individuals, employers, voluntary organisations, etc. on how to interpret the information contained on Disclosure certificates. Information on the service is available HERE
- Care Commission
The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care (the Care Commission) was established in April 2002 as the new, independent regulator set up under the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 to regulate care services in Scotland.
- Central Registered Body in Scotland (CRBS)
CRBS was established by the Scottish Government to provide free Disclosures for volunteers in the voluntary sector working with children, young people and adults at risk in Scotland. CRBS is part of Volunteer Development Scotland.
- Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
The CRB is an executive agency of the UK Home Office and, with its Disclosure service, provides a function similar to Disclosure Scotland to employers and voluntary organisations in England and Wales.
- Department for Transport (DfT)

In April 2003 the DfT issued an instruction that any new employees recruited to work airside at a UK Airport must first produce a Basic Disclosure in order to obtain their Airside or Restricted Zone (RZ) Pass. In July 2003 this instruction was extended to cover existing staff. Further information on this instruction can be obtained from the DfT.

- Office of Public Sector Information
This is a new site and supersedes the former HMSOnline site. OPSI operates as part of the UK Cabinet Office. It provides various services including online access to UK legislation and provides advice and guidance on official publishing and Crown copyright.

- Scottish Business Crime Centre
The SBCC's main function is to provide advice to the business/commercial sector on how to develop business crime reduction and prevention strategies.

- Scottish Police Services Authority
The Scottish Police Services Authority (SPSA) provides expert policing and support services to the country's eight police forces and criminal justice community.

(SSSC)
SSSC is responsible for registering people who work in social services in Scotland and regulating their education and training. Its role is to increase the protection of people who use social services, to raise standards of practice and to increase public confidence in the sector.

This links to the Scotland page of the SIA's website and provides information on the licensing of the private security industry in Scotland.
