Are road traffic offences disclosed?
Disclosure Scotland discloses all convictions recorded on central records, that is, the Criminal History System (CHS) and the Police National Computer (PNC). Road traffic offences have been recorded on PNC since 1993 and on CHS since 2001. Road traffic offences which have been dealt with by means of payment of a fixed penalty and not resulting in a conviction, will not be disclosed.
