Do foster carers and applicants for adoption require to be checked?
Yes, and each person in the household who is over the age of 16 needs to be checked. For example, if there are four people within a household, and three of them are over the age of 16, then there needs to be a separate application submitted for each of the three people who are over 16 years of age. A separate fee will be payable for each of those submitting an application.
