Do organisations, such as local authorities, have to register for each department?

In short, it is for local authorities, or indeed any other organisation, to decide how they want to organise themselves.  It may be that they decide to register only once, then have a number of countersignatories in different departments.  Or they may decide to register each department or division separately (e.g. within a local authority this may be HR/personnel, education, social work, catering/cleaning, etc.) and have a number of countersignatories within each department or division.

Disclosure information is sent directly to the address of the countersignatory who signed the Disclosure application.

The invoice for Disclosures is sent only to the lead signatory.

Further information is available from the Registration page.
