Is conviction information recorded post-issue of a Disclosure notified to Registered Bodies?
As there is no onus on Disclosure Scotland to keep track of whether or not the subject of a Disclosure is convicted after a certificate is issued, Disclosure Scotland does not notify registered bodies of subsequent convictions.
However, Scottish police forces can release information to third parties where there is a legitimate aim such as public safety. Further information on the Notifiable Occupation Scheme is available HERE.
